Wish the new Camaro had better visibility. Their performance out of the box is pretty phenomenal.

On a test drive the visibility is rough. If I owned the car, I feel I’d get use to it.
I drove the 1LEs and was blown away by the capability and experience. Even the V6.

I had a rental one for a week. It’s very easy to get used to, seriously.

I’ve heard that from someone else but it’s hard to imagine it getting any better.
My biggest complaint about my C5Z is that the low line of site and big blind spot make it a little stressful to drive in the heavy Atlanta traffic that’s riddled with terrible drivers with no form of insurance.
The Camaro is as tall as a sedan from the driver’s seat, but I imagine it will still be a bit of a chore to drive in the traffic over here.

That’s a fair criticism for a traffic situation. Unfortunately, if you’re complaining about the glass hatched c5's blind spot, Ive found they’re aren’t many modern coupes that do blindspots much better :/

I had one as a rental for a week in northern NJ, the visibility sucked and did not get better with time. Traffic was almost scary at points - you can’t see over your shoulders, the mirrors have blind spots, you just have to sort of hope nobody is hiding right off your quarter if you need to change lanes or merge.
If you lived somewhere with minimal congestion it’d probably be fine, but I can’t imagine dailying one somewhere like I was driving that rental.

The blind spot isn’t terrible. I can adjust for it with my side mirrors. The low line of site is a little annoying at times.
I just imagine that the camaro is more of a pain instead of being less of a pain.

These are my thoughts exactly. Atlanta has 10 way highways that are packed to the gills. Plus, people seem to be far less willing to let me into a lane with my bright yellow corvette than when I’m driving my girlfriends car.

Eh, you can see out of them just fine. My biggest gripe is the height the beltline

Own a C5Z and would rather have an improvement in visibility instead of a downgrade.

I would rather have the C5Z as well. I just don’t find the visibility as terrible as people make it out to be. I just really hate how tall the beltline is, though if that was lower the visibility would also be better.

Love my car, but could really use something with a back seat and a trunk. Plus, I don’t even get to use the power about 99% of the time. Oh well

GTO

No thank you. I knew a couple people with them and don’t want to deal with the limited parts availability, weak rear, skinny tires, etc.
Just never cared for it either.

Skinny tires? It is only slightly limited, but an amazing car.
Chevy SS

Chevy SS is way up there but super hard to find in a stick.
GTO comes stock with something like 245's in the rear and narrow wheels iirc. Even with aftermarket wheels, 275 is pretty much the limit. In contrast, I have 275's for my front tires currently. Lol

Yeah they are hard to find
Eh, it really isn’t that bad, but I suppose if you’re going to get picky ;)
